Top Universities in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University is the top ranked university in Kyrgyzstan, followed by Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University in 2nd place nationally and American University Central Asia in 3rd place nationally, according to the Webometrics ranking of Top Colleges and Best Universities of Kyrgyzstan (July 2011).

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University is a state university of joint subordination to Kyrgyzstan and Russia and is a member of Russian Universities Association. The University has the following divisions: Division of economics; Natural and Technical division; Law division; Humanities division; International Relations division; Medical division.

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University was established in accordance with an agreement signed on September 30, 1995 in Izmir, between the government of the Turkish Republic and that of the Kyrgyz Republic. The University has the following faculties: Faculty of Letters; Faculty of Science; Faculty of Fine Arts; Faculty of Economics and Management; Faculty of Communication; Faculty of Engineering; Faculty of Veterinary; Faculty of Agriculture; Ä°lahiyat Fakultesi.

American University of Central Asia is an international, multi-disciplinary learning community in the American liberal arts tradition. It is the first university in Central Asia to offer US accredited degrees in liberal arts through a partnership with Bard College in the US. The University is proud to have partnered on sponsored research projects with the Open Society Institute, the Soros Foundation, the Aga Khan Foundation, etc.
