The following UK universities offer top-up degree programmes in the field of sport:

University of Brighton - The Sport and Fitness (top-up) BSc (Hons) programme develops the skills and specialist knowledge appropriate for careers in sports training and coaching, or exercise and health. Employment opportunities include fitness instruction, personal trainers, coaching, sports science support, health promotion and sports development.

University of Salford - The BSc (Hons) Sports Development top-up degree is for those who have completed the Foundation Degree in Sports Development, or who have an equivalent qualification. This course can be taken over 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time and comprises 4 core modules and 1 optional module.

University of Central Lancashire - The one year top up BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Physiology degree is specifically designed to provide an intellectually challenging programme of education for holders of a Higher National Diploma or Foundation Degree in areas related to Sports/Exercise Science. The course contains a balance between theoretical lectures, directed practicals and independent learning. A variety of assessment methods are used including coursework, case studies, presentations, examinations and reflective portfolios.

The University of Northampton - The one-year BA (Hons) Sport and Recreation Management (top-up) course aims to develop the learner's ability to synthesise and critically evaluate the major issues in sport and recreation management. Applicants will have achieved or will expect to achieve the HND or Foundation Degree in a related subject. Applicants would normally be expected to achieve at least four merit grades in their second year HND modules or have an equivalent Foundation Degree profile.
