UK Law School Rankings 2012

Cambridge is ranked No. 1 in the UK for law, according to the Guardian University Guide subject league tables 2012, followed by Oxford in 2nd place and University College London in 3rd place.

The School of Law at Queen Mary is ranked 4th in the UK for law. In addition, the School is ranked 7th in the England and 3rd in London for Law, based on the percentage of our staff rated 3* & 4* (4* being the highest) in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE).

Newcastle Law School is ranked 9th in the Guardian's University Guide for 2012. The result adds to the excellent performance by Newcastle Law School in both the 2009 and 2010 National Student Satisfaction Surveys, where it was ranked in the top two with an overall student satisfaction outcome of 98%.

Lancaster University's Law School is ranked 11th in the country and remain the highest ranked Law School in the North West. The School offers undergraduate degree (LLB degree schemes) and a wide range of postgraduate study opportunities including taught LLM, MSc, MA Degrees; a postgraduate diploma and research degrees (MPhil/PhD).
