Best Law Schools 2015

In its 2015 edition of "America's Best Graduate Schools", released on March 11, 2014, U.S. News & World Report ranked Yale University No. 1 among the 200 U.S. law schools, ahead of Harvard University (2nd) and Stanford University (3rd)

William & Mary Law School climbed nine spots to 24th and tied with the University of Washington. The Law School's previous best ranking was 27th in 2005, 2006, and 2011. It was ranked 33rd in 2013.

The Maurer School of Law in Bloomington was ranked 29th overall (down from 25th a year ago) and 11th among public institutions.

Wake Forest's School of Law was tied at 31st place with Arizona State University, Ohio State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Wisconsin—Madison. While Wake Forest Law consistently ranks in the top tier law schools, this is the highest ranking the School has had since the magazine's annual report on best graduate schools began in 1990.

The University of New Hampshire (UNH) Law rose to 93rd, 26 spots higher than last year. Over the past two years, UNH Law has moved up a combined 49 spots, a rise unmatched by any other law school. This placed UNH Law among the top 100 law schools in the nation for the first time ever.
