Best Regional Universities in the West 2015

According to the U.S. News & World Report rankings of America’s Best Colleges 2015, Trinity University was ranked 1st among “Best Regional Universities - West”, followed by Santa Clara University in 2nd place.

St. Edward’s University was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best Colleges, moving up two spots to 13th in the 2015 Best Regional Universities West region rankings. It is one of only four Texas universities to be ranked in the top 20 in the Best Regional Universities rankings. Additionally, St. Edward’s was ranked 2nd in the West Region in the Best Colleges for Veterans rankings.

LeTourneau University (LETU) was ranked 27th among all the universities in its category of “Best Regional Universities in the Western Region” for 2015, mirroring last year’s ranking of 27th in 2014, which was up from 36th in 2013. It is the 21st year the university has been included in the top tier. LETU ranked above all public universities in Texas in its category, and placed 6th among Texas independent universities.

Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) was ranked 35th among the more than 120 best regional universities in the West. In addition, HSU was also ranked 13th among the Best Colleges for Veterans among the West’s regional universities.

California Baptist University was ranked 38th in the West in the US News “Best Regional Universities” category for 2015, up from 42nd in the previous year’s rankings and 58th in 2013.
