Top Biosciences Universities

According to the Guardian University Guide 2015, Cambridge was ranked 1st in the UK for Biosciences, followed by Oxford in 2nd place and St Andrews in 3rd place.

The University of York Biosciences was ranked 4th in the UK for teaching excellence by Guardian. Furthermore, Biological Sciences at York has been ranked 4th in the UK and one of the top departments in student satisfaction (4.36 out of 5.0) in the Complete University Guide 2015. The Complete University Guide 2015 ranks 99 Biological Sciences courses taught at UK universities.

The University of Leicester was ranked 8th in the UK for Biosciences in the 2015 Guardian University Guide. It also achieved excellent scores in the National Student Survey (NSS). In 2013 100% of Biological Sciences students were satisfied with their course.

Lancaster University was ranked 9th in the UK for Biosciences in the Guardian University Guide 2015. This latest result comes shortly after Lancaster was announced to be the highest placed UK university in the Times Higher Education '100 Under 50' ranking of the world's best young universities.
