Top Universities for Politics
The University of St Andrews is the top ranked UK university for the Politics subject area, according to the latest Guardian University Guide 2015, followed by Oxford in 2nd place.
The School of Government and Society at the University of Birmingham performed very well with Politics appearing in the top 5 in the Guardian league table. It was ranked 5th out of the 72 universities listed from across the country, improving its position over last year by 5 places. This includes high performances in a variety of areas including 92% of students satisfied with teaching and 88% of students satisfied with the course.
The University of Strathclyde has made it to a UK top ten position (ranked 9th) after jumping 25 places from last year in the Guardian’s annual University Guide league table for the Politics subject area.
The University of York's Politics Department was rated 10th in the Guardian University League Tables for 2015. This follows its success in moving into the the top ten Politics Departments in the latest Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide.
