2015 QS top 50 under 50 Ranking

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) was ranked 1st in the 2015 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings for world universities under 50 years old.

Three universities in Hong Kong made the Top 50 list: Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2nd), City University of Hong Kong (4th), and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (6th).

The University of Bath (UK) has jumped five places to a record high of 7th in the 2015 QS ‘50 under 50’ rankings of the world’s best universities under 50 years of age. Bath is also ranked No. 1 among the UK universities featured in this year’s list.

Heriot-Watt University has risen 13 places in the 2015 QS ’Top 50 under 50’ World University Rankings, to 34th place, up from 47th last year. It is the only Scottish university in the top 50 and is rated 3rd in the UK, after Bath at 7th place and Loughborough at 16th.

Deakin University jumped to 36th in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings Top 50 Under 50 years old. According to the survey, Deakin was ranked number two in Victoria and number seven in Australia. The rankings also awards Deakin five stars based on performance across measures including research, employability, teaching, facilities, internationalisation, innovation, other specialist criteria and inclusiveness.
