Eastern Michigan University
- The Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD) has been graduating entry-level practitioners since 1974. The CPD is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE).
- Dietitians are employed in a variety of settings, including community agencies, long-term care, home health care, business and industry, and more.
- The Bachelor of Science in Dietetics (IDTC) program is designed for those who do not have an undergraduate degree in Dietetics and want to become a Registered Dietitian (RD). The University delivers this program both on-campus and online.
The University of Georgia
- The dietetics major is a Didactic Program in Dietetics approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association. Students completing degree requirements will receive a Bachelor of Science degree.
- Upon completion of the Didactic Program in Dietetics, candidates must complete a supervised practice program, such as an CADE-accredited dietetic internship, in order to be eligible to take the registration examination for dietitians.
Loyola University Chicago Niehoff School of Nursing
- The Niehoff School of Nursing offers students an opportunity to complete a master’s degree in dietetics as alternative to or after completion of the Dietetic Internship.
- The Loyola Dietetic Internship graduated its first class in 1997 and is fully accredited by the American Dietetic Association.
University of Wisconsin-Stout
- UW-Stout’s B.S. Degree in Dietetics program prepares students for a variety of career choices which include hospitals (inpatient and acute care); clinics and ambulatory care centers; community and public health programs; extended care facilities; and more.
- The academic program meets the requirements of the American Dietetic Association. In order to be eligible to take the registration exam, students must complete an internship after graduation.
