Laval University (Université Laval) is a top Canadian university located in Québec City, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It offers a wide range of academic programs at undergraduate and graduate levels.

- According to the Research Inforsource Inc. 2009, Laval University is ranked 7th among the Top 50 Research Universities.

- In 2007, more than 1,300 faculty members shared $260 million in outside grants, Laval University is ranked 8th of 50 Canadian universities in terms of research funding, and the quality of its research was recognized internationally.
